brilliant entry point to feminist literature. a concise and well-written summary on a woman named kim ji-young and her life, in which she's encountered sexism and gender-based discrimination since she was a little girl. this book is very straight to the point and easy to read. analytical at times. the author writes in a detached style, so you may not get too emotionally involved with the characters but i still think u shld read it. all the REAL hard numbers and data she uses is enough for u to love this book. just a v important read. 5/5.
